NOTE: THIS IS JUST AN IN PROGRESS PROTOTYPE, THE SERVER IS ONLY RUNNING WHEN I'M ACTIVELY TESTING IT. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT AND RUN YOUR OWN LOCAL SERVER, BUT OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONNECT AND PLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE UNLESS I HAPPEN TO BE RUNNING THE SERVER FOR TESTING AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME.

2D pirate ship battles, what could be more exciting?

A / D to move turn your ship. S to slow down/reverse. You move forwards automatically, so W does nothing!

Left and Right arrow keys or J / L keys to shoot cannons.

Hold down Tab to bring up the scoreboard.

Fort cannons and NPC pirate hunter ships (the ones with white sails) will shoot you, although their cannonballs only do half as much damage as player controlled ships.  You can sink the pirate hunters, but you can't damage the fort cannons yet. Feel free to shoot them though if it makes you feel better.

Your cannons take a few seconds to reload, so be careful with your shots. Or not. I'm not the boss of you.
