Back to laser work

After the #devtober development of this project was fixed, I've spent about a week and a half taking a break from it to work on other things (mostly not even computer related), but now I'm coming back to Laser Paddles to clean things up and add some new features. 

Just a couple of quick bug fixes in this update, but it's a start.
