Oh my god. My siblings and I used to play Mortal Pongbat for hours on our old PowerPC. You don't know how much it means to us to find a version that runs on modern architecture!!
I know you asked about this like a zillion years ago, but I finally revisited this game and released an update, and as part of that I made a mac build. I didn't test it because I don't have a working mac available, but if you'd like to give it a shot, feel free.
I don't use Linux and don't really want to spend the time officially supporting it, but if I have the time, I'll look into making a linux build and sending it to you to try if you want.

That's awesome. A bunch of the sounds from Mortal Pongbat have permanent residence in my brain.
